TSMC Holds Its First Online Annual Technology Symposium to Showcase the Latest Developments in Advanced Logic Technology, Specialty Technology, and 3DIC System Integration Solutions
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TSMC brought its annual technology symposium online for the first time this August. At the virtual symposium, TSMC showcased the latest developments in its leading advanced logic technologies, including N7, N6, N5, N4, and N3 and comprehensive specialty technologies, including the FinFET-based N12e™ for AIoT in the 5G era. In addition, TSMC introduced its leading 3DIC system integration solutions - 3DFabric™, and updated the development of its comprehensive design enablement ecosystem. Nearly 5,000 people attended this virtual event designed for regions and countries including North America, Europe, Japan, Taiwan and Mainland China, showing customers’ best interests in this event.
Our customers' chip innovations are the key to make the world smarter and more connected. During these difficult times for communities around the world due to COVID-19, these chip innovations also play important roles in temperature sensors, driverless delivery vehicles, and robotic technologies, and so on. Moreover, more powerful computing power is critically needed to help researchers and scientists study the disease and find treatments for COVID-19.
